George’s ‘Cheesy’ Caesar Dressing

Sometimes, I really miss a generous smattering of Caesar Salad on my raw greens, so I came up this whizz-up-in-minutes concoction to void the gap.


  • 1tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp dark or white miso
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast*
  • ½ tbsp. cyder vinegar**
  • 60-75ml water, depending on desired thickness


Simple: Blend together for about 10 seconds, either with a balloon whisk, or a hand-held blender.

* Not Hippocrates-approved: Why? Because it can contribute to candida, if you have a tendency towards it
** Not Hippocrates-approved: Why? Because even cyder vinegar can cause digestive challenges. Just consider it an occasional treat when adding to dressings.

SERVING TIP: This dressing is perfect when poured generously over a green salad, particularly Romaine lettuce or baby gem lettuce.
